Saint Monica Catholic High School offers a summer school program that meets the interests and needs of many students. Our summer school provides a rich environment designed to enhance a student's high school curriculum. Many of the courses meet the requirements of the University of California and California State University systems.

Varsity Books Information

DRIVER'S EDUCATION
(Grades 10-12 Only)

Session 1: June 23th to July 9th, Period 3

Session 2: July 10th to July 25th, Period 3

Fee: $130.00 per session

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

NOTE: Remediation of poor grades for any continuing student must be made up at SMCHS unless the required class is not offered.

DRESS CODE: Students must wear neat, modest and appropriate dress. T-shirts and shorts are permitted, however, all shirts, tops and dresses must have sleeves. Bathing suits, bare midriffs and other revealing attire are NOT allowed.  Shoes must be worn at all times.  Extremes in hairstyle and color are NOT permitted.

PARKING: The parking lot is for faculty only, students must park off campus during school hours.

ATTENDANCE:  More than TWO ABSENCES, REGARDLESS OF REASON, qualify a student for no credit in the course.  TWO TARDIES are equivalent to one absence.  Students MUST take final exams on July 25th.

HOLIDAY:  July 4th is a summer school holiday.

BEHAVIOR: Students should be well-mannered, polite and respectful at all times. Students behaving inappropriately as deemed by the Summer School Director will be asked to withdraw with NO REFUND GIVEN.

PRIORITY ENROLLMENT DEADLINE JUNE 16th:

Late fee of  $30 begins June 17th  
Late fee of  $55 begins June 19th

Based on enrollment classes may be cancelled. Please verify class availability prior to purchase of textbooks.  A fee for a class without sufficient enrollment will be refunded by mail.  NO REFUNDS will be given after June 25th. If a student leaves due to disciplinary reasons, NO REFUND IS GIVEN.

BOOKS: Textbooks are not included unless otherwise noted. There is a list of required books on the SMCHS website. Students are expected to have their books the first day of class.  Books may be purchased online at VarsityBooks.com or you may click on the Varsity Books link on the SMCHS homepage.
