WHAT is ROCK?

Reaching Out, Challenging Kids (ROCK) is a partnership between students, teachers and parents which is supported by the local community.  Click here to meet our staff!  ROCK empowers students to reach their full academic potential by providing a positive environment, tutorial support, and mentoring.

WHO can participate?

ROCK is open to all SMCHS students and is free of charge!

WHERE and WHEN does ROCK happen?

ROCK is held in room 204.  Tutoring in all core subjects will be available after school on Mondays from 3 to 5, Wednesdays from 3-4, and Thursdays from 3-4.  Each day will also have a specialized focus:  Mondays on study and test-taking skills; Wednesdays on Math and Science; and Thursdays on the Liberal and Fine/Performing Arts.  College and career exploration will also be included as a component of the program.

Please contact Mrs. Rice at mrice@stmonicahs.net or Mr. Billups at rbillups@stmonicahs.net if you have any questions.
